In all honesty it's probably just pulled. Like you said wait a week and then go in if it persist. i waited awhile on my ribs and finally had to go in. I'm doing ok. The cat's are ok and so are my ribs. I didn't stay up too late last night, I slept good. can you sleep with your back like this?
