yes. there are bunch of useless vids these days. many of them are clickbaits, and they put loads of random information which is sometimes untrue.
everyones like,i just have to make as many videos as i can so that i may make money.
the number of the videos is large,but many of them are similar.
thumnails be like "incredible thing has happened to me!!" or top10 most...ever!!

so true. but i wouldnt care about the amount of the videos cuz there would be more high quality contests even if the amount was smaller.
these days there are bunch of vids but they look the same,more or less and monetization have made them even more boring to watch.
also they are deleting many videos due to copyright stuff or so therefore i dont think the number of the videos count at all

true. even if what youtube was before is gone forever,the memories of those good times are imperishable.
and sometimes i wonder, if youtube had always been good like 2000s till now,what would that place be like? what kind of people would be there now and what would they be doing...?etc etc.

i have to say this
there is NOTHING about the current youtube that is better than the old youtube.
even videos are worse so its totally a graveyard.
now: loads of loads of crappy videos
then: not so many videos but they are all decent

and your right,the private message is gone,so there is no way to talk with someone personally.
and its too inconvenient because we sometimes need to have a talk only between the two.
it's totally horrible that youtube forces all these things and they dont listen to users at all.
but thats how theyve been like since around 10 years ago so it even sounds silly to mention this now lol

true. exploring other channels was one of my daily fun activities when on youtube and it was also so fun to see various types of channel with different colours depending on the person.
we can do none of them anymore.
youtube has took off everything that was quite enjoyable for us,and now all that is left is videos.
and sadly there is no "send a friend invite" stuff anymore.
we cannot even talk to each other like we used to,as long as we dont repond in video comment.
so hard to use.
