xFaithfulMind (5 years ago) The white wolf nodded his head at once, his confident smirk curving the corners of his muzzle. "I will be just fine, but thanks a lot. We will eventually meet again. Watch your back Shadow." He powered forward, swerving sharply to the left to avoid a boulder, his large frame disappearing into the distance.

xFaithfulMind (5 years ago) Elijah angled his skull upwards to watch the sky, his ears twitching as he could hear the soft murmur of the branches. "He was nothing but a stranger to me." Once the words left his maw, he mused quietly in the sunlight, allowing his mind to wander to the same brute. He vaguely remembered the last moment when he exited the area. He didn't see him again. He shifted his gaze and returned with a glance in Shadow's direction. "I have to continue my journey. It was nice talking to you Shadow. Bye."

xFaithfulMind (5 years ago) He gazed thoughtfully at the landscape, visualizing the first moment when he had encountered another dire wolf at the northern mountains. It was a long time ago, and Elijah didn't enjoy the glacial stare from the other brute. He was tough and belligerent – much unlike the black wolf in front of him, who remained collected. "Well I've seen one before when I was younger." He glanced back at him, his delicate tail moving slightly from side to side. "This is my second time that I meet a dire wolf.

xFaithfulMind (5 years ago) He noticed the apologetic look that formed on Shadow's face. He was wondering why he apologized to him. At first glance, he looked tough and mighty like all the dire wolves, but he was seemingly kind. Dire wolves are usually high-powered, self-confident, fearless and impenetrable. "You don't need to be sorry. It's nice to meet you Shadow. It's very rare that I encounter a dire wolf." He nodded slightly, his white fur flapping in the wind. "I'm just trying to survive. You know, living my life."

xFaithfulMind (5 years ago) Elijah's left ear twitched frantically at the voice that came from the male's maw. "I'm not afraid. I'm just prudent." He said serenely without a hint of fear in his voice. Yes this brute looked very intimidating, but Elijah remained composed, for he knew his fair share of gentle giants. After all, the dark wolf was polite in his speech and didn't seem to exhibit any signs of aggression. "Where are my manners? Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Elijah. Who might you be?"

xFaithfulMind (5 years ago) Elijah remained cautious, his emerald orbs raking across the stranger, assessing his body language in an attempt to get a better read on him. He had learned to be wary of others, but he had also learned that there was good in this world too, and that it was not to be passed up unless it threatened one's survival. Even from a short distance, the brute seemed to tower over him, but Elijah maintained his poise, his white tail arching over his spine. "I don't believe we've met. Are you a dire wolf?"

xFaithfulMind (5 years ago) Elijah's muzzle wrinkled as the scent of a stranger reached his senses. Looking over his shoulder, he cast a wary glance, his eyes wandering to the foliage. He twirled around and made his way to the maze of trees. It wasn't very long before he spotted the dark figure. This male was massive in proportion; the only wolf Elijah had ever seen of such size had been his brother. Cautiously, he approached and halted a slight ways away from him. He dipped his head as a sign of respect. "Hello there."

xFaithfulMind (5 years ago) The journey to the mountains had proven to be more strenuous than Elijah had originally thought, but of course it wasn't anything he couldn't handle. The slight wind from above the cliff was taking some getting used to, its occasional gusts of chill were just enough to send ripple after ripple of shivers down the ridge of his spine. As he trudged up the rocky surface, he scanned the green valley for a brief moment, taking in the beauty of the sight before him.
